FEAR OF GOD WILL is key
The midwives in Egypt had orders King of Egypt so that they directly kill the baby boys born to Hebrew women. In those days a king's command was law. Anyone who violated the king means to deal with the punishment. But the midwives it would prefer to let the Hebrew babies survive. The midwives would prefer to deal with the king or the state law does not pro-life.
King and midwives both have the same opportunity to determine the fate of these babies. But they take different decisions. King did not fear God, and therefore he wants to kill babies. The midwives feared God, they prefer to save.
Today's bloom will be abortions. Doctors and mothers have equal opportunity to kill the fetus. That the benchmark is whether the doctor and the mother is the fear of God? If the fear of God, then they will appreciate life. Because life is a blessing.
Exodus 1:17 But the midwives feared God, and ..... let the babies live.
